Map list

This is a compilation of several maps already published here, with various additions and corrections.
The streets, roads mappings and a few POIs, on level 0 for Asuncion and Departamento Central, are from the maps ASUNCION and 59501100 published by Takeo, completed and amended by myself.
Rivers, lakes, country limits, all the roads in the Argentine and some of the roads in Paraguay were taken from the map 2460-Asuncion published here by ProyectoMapear (http://www.proyectomapear.com.ar), with corrections from the 1/250.000 maps of the Instituto Geografico Militar, and POIs I have personally plotted, for the Paraguayan territory.
The level curves are taken from the maps 20092405, 20092406, 20093125 and 20993126 published on www.GPSMaps.de, and are used here by kind permission of Dr. Roger von Hentig.

On this map:
Major Highway refers to a dual carriageway black-top road.
Principal Highway to a single carriageway black-top road.
Other Highway to a road surfaced with stones or graded dirt
Unpaved Roads are dirt tracks, often unpassable after the rain.

Streets of Filadelfia (Chaco Paraguayo).
Note: All the streets in Filadelfia are dirt roads. Those marked "Major Road" here are dirt-topped dual carriageways!
